This refreshing, vibrant smoothie is the ultimate post-workout recovery drink. Packed with plant-based protein and clean carbohydrates, it is specifically designed to replenish your body after a tough training session. For the best recovery results, aim to consume this within 30 minutes of finishing your workout.
Equipment Needed
Blender (a compact blender like a NutriBullet works perfectly)
Ingredients
300ml Soya milk (chosen over oat milk for its superior protein content)
½ cup Spelt flakes
½ cup Frozen fruit (mixed berries or banana work brilliantly)
1 tbsp Linwoods Organic Cold Milled Seeds (Flaxseed, Sunflower, Pumpkin & Chia seeds with Goji berries)
2 tbsp Maple syrup
¼ tsp Salt
Instructions
Load the Blender: Add all of the ingredients—soya milk, spelt flakes, frozen fruit, milled seeds, maple syrup, and salt—directly into your blender cup.
Blend until Smooth: Whizz everything together on high speed until completely smooth, creamy, and uniform in color.
Serve and Fuel: Pour the mixture into a tall glass and enjoy immediately to kickstart your recovery.
